Ziggy Alberts - Cyclones

1. Cyclones

You were made of fire and I’m waterborne
Magnetic double cancers wild and 24
Lady sliding in the morning weekends working late nights
Called about another man in and out of earth tribes

Would it make a difference if I fought for you?
Instead of doing what I did stepping aside
Even if it wasn’t made forever
Instead of living like cyclones
Blaming it on weather

Surfing the pacific where it’s warm and blue
The morning after calling I was thinking about you
Maybe you thought that your parents they might of stayed together
If they just had the moment to get to know someone else better

Would it make a difference if I fought for you

Instead of doing what I did stepping aside
Even if it wasn’t made forever
Instead of living like cyclones
Blaming it on weather

 Rust coming through my floor
Like a beach car a 4x4 I didn’t
Stand up for what might be
There’s no one else to blame but me
The way that we — that night

We could have set that whole hill on fire
North bound and wondering
If I could have done something differently

Would it make a difference if I fought for you?
Instead of doing what I did stepping aside
Even if it wasn’t made forever

Instead of living like cyclones
Blaming it on
Blaming it on
Blaming it on

Would it make a difference if I fought for you?
Instead of doing what I did stepping aside
Even if it wasn’t made forever

Instead of living like cyclones
Blaming it on weather

 Instead of living like cyclones
Blaming it on weather
Instead of living like cyclones
Blaming it on weather
