ZIGGY ALBERTS ADDS FREE POP UP SHOW AHEAD OF HIS SUPPORT RUN OF DONAVON FRANKENREITER’S JAPAN TOUR

16 OCTOBER 2024 – Commonfolk Records is excited to announce independent Australian singer-songwriter and published author Ziggy Alberts is hitting the road with the talented Donavon Frankenreiter for a much-anticipated tour in Japan. This partnership comes on the heels of their collaboration, “I’ll Come A-Runnin’,” which has been making waves across global streaming platforms.

Recently, Ziggy and Donavon performed together at Milwaukee Summerfest, where their dynamic onstage presence captivated audiences. Now, they’re set to bring that same energy to fans in Japan, with shows scheduled in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka, with Ziggy today announcing his own, very special free headline popup performance in Chiba.

Ziggy’s Chiba performance will take place as the sun sets at Overview Coffee Ichinomiya and will mark Albert’s debut in Japan. The venue, owned by longtime friend of Ziggy’s surfboard shaper from Byron Bay, Australia, will provide fans with the perfect intimate setting to enjoy Ziggy's music while soaking in the beautiful coastal atmosphere Chiba has to offer. This free concert promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, blending live music with the vibrant surf culture of the area and is one not to be missed. 

Ziggy is thrilled to be sharing the stage with Frankenreiter noting “I am very excited to be joining Donavon in Japan this October. Japan has been on my bucket list for a long time, and I've had many fans ask me to come play a show, so I'm stoked it's all happening.”
