Australian singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts announces new EP 'A Postcard from London', recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. This 6-track EP is home to live studio versions of some of Alberts' most popular tracks, including Runaway, Rewind and The Sun & The Sea. Also featured on the EP are two spoken poems from his debut poetry book 'brainwaves', which honour and come from his time spent in London.

In the collection of 6 tracks, Alberts offers listers a brief moment of pause and reflection with two spoken word poems 'Camden' and 'Tree Watching', from his debut poetry book 'brainwaves'. They are short yet emphatic, leaving you in thought.
 
'Runaway’ takes charge as the EP's focus track and is the first alternative version of one of Alberts' undoubtedly most popular songs. In his true fashion, this version of 'Runaway' showcases his ability to weave together honest storytelling and heartfelt melody in a way that feels both personal and mutually shared.
 
In the EP's entirety, with his trademark acoustic guitar, rich vocals and soothing prose voice, he transports listeners to the secluded recording room in London, painting a vivid picture of hope, longing and nostalgia.

‘A Postcard from London’ coincides with Alberts much anticipated touring return to the UK and Ireland in May and June 2023. In a 12-date run of shows as part of his REWIND WORLD TOUR, Alberts be will playing esteemed and town favourite venues, including London's Eventim Apollo (previously Hammersmith), Academy Manchester and 3Olympia Dublin.
